Office Personnel



Christina CVPM, LVT  Practice Manager was born and raised in Virginia. She came to Beach Pet Hospital eight years ago. She is our practice manager and became a LVT several years later. Christina has  two sons, Steven and Trevor. They have two dogs, Tank the Rottweiller and a Jack Russell Terrier named Clyde. She also has a bird and several fish. She enjoys showing her Rottweillers and yoga. 

Beach Pet Hospital Virginia Beach, VA Dana

Dana Office & Personnel Manager has been at Beach Pet since September 1990. She and her husband, Pete, have 2 dogs- Brody and Dewey. Her interests include horseback riding, music, and animals. She and her husband, Pete, have two daughters, Payton and Paige. She is currently pursuing her certification in Veterinary Practice Management through St. Petersburg College of Florida. 



Kevin Receptionist, is a Virginia Beach native and has been working at Beach Pet since 2009. He lives with several roommates who include a temperamental cat named Jackson Jose and newly adopted cat, Thaddeus F. Fishe, Esq. He enjoys movies, games, and spending time with friends and loved ones. 



Gabriella Receptionist, moved to Virginia Beach as a newlywed in 1984. She and her husband Douglas are very proud of the two great kids they raised together, Alexander and Chelsea.

To help fill their "empty nest", she adopted Thackeray, a dorm cat from St. Augustine, FL and Pikachu, the city cat from Cincinnati. She returned to college a few years ago in hopes of figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up!

When she is not at Beach Pet Hospital or studying, she enjoys travel, good food, family and wine.

Beach Pet Hospital Virginia Beach, VA Chris

Chris, Dr. Vrooman’s wife and practice Mom,  works part-time, tending to an assortment of matters, but primarily enjoys nurturing the staff and the animals, as well as tending to some true administrative duties, like keeping the books and keeping Dr. Vrooman in line! In addition to her duties at Beach Pet, she enjoys spending time with her four children and 4 pets (see Dr. Vrooman bio) and loves to go to their mountain property, “Ankida” (an ancient Sumerian word that means “Where heaven and earth join”). She loves photography, growing heirloom tomatoes, reading, music, hiking, and writing. She anxiously awaits the arrival of their first two grandchildren this coming year!
